I am a certified master pet groomer with over 25 years of experience working with pets.  I started out working as a kennel assistant and bather/brusher at Towne and Country Animal Clinic in Fairborn, Ohio.  Working under groomer, Penny Wall, I learned gentle handling techniques and professional grooming practices.  To expand on my knowledge of breed-specific styling, I attended Dayton Academy of Dog Grooming, completing over 800 hours of instruction and receiving my Master Dog Grooming Certificate.  I worked as a pet groomer for many years while raising my daughter.  When my daughter entered elementary school, I returned to college to finish a bachelor's and master's degree in education and began teaching, while continuing to groom my own dogs (and cats) at home. With the opportunity to renovate a commercial building that my husband and I purchased in our new home town of Rome City, Indiana, I began revisiting my lifetime dream of owning and operating my own pet care business.  I believe my life experience, skills, and education provide me with all of the tools to be your choice for professional and friendly pet care.  I specialize in pets like puppies, cats, and seniors who may be apprehensive about grooming and boarding.  I also specialize in serving particular pet parents who love their pets like family members.  :) I am honored to call Rome City home, and likewise honored to serve Noble County and the surrounding communities with high quality professional services for your pets.  Please don't hesitate to call me to discuss your pet's grooming needs.
